The freak winter storm that blew through Baltimore yesterday canceled some Saturday night Halloween plans I'm sure, and left millions without power farther north. Luckily, there was no accumulation here and it had already tapered into rain by nightfall. But seriously- snow in October?! At least I got a chance to sleep in this weekend. : )

Elvis has left the building...
Elvis, my little gray buddy of 14 years, passed on today. She was a wonderful and social bird who loved road trips, jazz music, and dinner parties. I will miss her dearly. A big thanks to the folks over at Glen Burnie Animal Hospital who were so kind and generous in their care for her today. See you next lifetime buddy : )

Thank You Bolton Hill!
We had a really great time with everyone at Festival on the Hill last Saturday. The weather was beautiful, and there were so many cool things to see (including a performance by the Catonsville High School Steel Drum Band which was AMAZING!). We hope to be back again next year. : )

Comic Book Pinbacks
I recently bought a few comic books from the 60's and 70's with the idea in mind of making them into pinback buttons. The pages contain so many great colors and graphics, it's really a shame to let them go to waste. Now they are pin-able works of art!

Fall is HERE!
I officially had my first show of the fall season last weekend, and the weather couldn't have been more seasonal. I snapped this shot before leaving the festival grounds at the end of the day- nothing says fall like a field of foddershock!
